Thursdays Child of LI was founded in 1989 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) charity, Thursdays Child, Inc. (TC), provides independent, supportive, permanent housing for families and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.

Place: VFW Hall, Lakeland Ave., Sayville, NY
Cost: $20 before Sept 15, $25 cash at the door if available
Tickets: available on Wed. night from 7pm to 9pm
The second Country Mavericks Hoedown was a great success. Thanks to all the cowboys and cowgirls came and dance the night away. A big special thanks to Sharon who danced with her knee brace on all night, she was the best hostess. I could not have done the dance with her. Also Sadie who helped with the setup and food.
